A map of Long Road Home Ranch
The Long Road Home Ranch is a multi-function equine facility in scenic southwestern Pennsylvania. The local area has a thriving Hunter/Jumper and Equitation circuit, with harness, endurance and flat-racing within easy trailering distance. With easy access to I-76, which forms our eastern border, just south of Rt. 28, which forms our property's southern border, we're ideally located for those looking to take a break while trailering across the state, or across the country. We're a day's drive from Gettysburg, and many of our horses have ridden the Gettysburg trails in their off-seasons.
We're always willing to accept visiting mares and stallions, whether it's for a short stay or for a long stay. We'll even let them stay here if they're not booked with Long Road Home studs or mares. The owner's house is a brisk five minute walk from the foaling stalls, so we can be well rested but on hand in an emergency for your broodmares. We have an onsite vet too, because mare and foal care is very important to us.
We're happy to host your horses, and their riders, handlers and grooms, during their competitive years too. Maybe you'd like your Australian horse to run on the American circuit, or maybe your Hong Kong horse needs a break from the hard tracks there. We have well-maintained facilities, including gallops, a cross country course, a showjumping course, a large outdoor arena, a small indoor arena, and a roundpen.
